Call for Papers: Development and Media Studies (CSDMS), India is organising its *2nd Annual Asian ICT conference and exhibition* in February 2007 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This unique event titled - '*eAsia 2007*' (www.csdms.in/eAsia) will host five different but interrelated conferences, focusing on five emerging application domains of ICTs, such as, e-Government, ICT and Education, ICT and Rural Development, ICT-based Health services and Mobile application and services.

This is to inform you that T. Kugatharmini’s (Batch of 99/00) father has passed away on the 3rd of Oct 2006. The funeral arrangements are to take place in Jaffna today.

We extend our heart felt condolences to Kugatharmini and her family at this moment of grief.

We sadly and heartbreakingly inform you that one of my batch mate Reginold .E (Batch of 96/97) has passed away today (2nd September 2006) due to a tragic circumstances. The funeral will be held on Wednesday 6th September 2006 (At Muttakkuliya home).

According to friends of the deceased, Mr. Reginald had left the office around 7.20 p.m. Friday and didn't return to his home in Muttakkuliya till 9 p.m. Family members had called around to check his whereabouts and following day, Friday morning, the dead body was found.
